Microsoft Windows Vista was Officially Launched more than an year back. Its time for an Service Pack Microsoft’s Officially releasing its Service Pack in March. But it has released it for now to OEM Partners just as it relased Vista a month before its Official Launch to its OEM Partners.

The Total Download Size of the SP1 Disc Image is around 1.2Gb. Download it Directly from Microsoft Servers and fast cause you never know when MS takes it down.

But if you still are eager to install Vista SP1, my friend Joel has posted a neat trick to get SP1 Officially via Windows Updates.

Here are those Steps which are Originally posted >Here< :

1. First Download the VistaSP1WU.cmd, then login in as administrator and double click the file to execute it.
2. Wait for a conformation message.
3. Now check for new updates in the windows update. You will find Vista Service Pack 1 listed in the updates.
4. Download and install it.
